Wojtek started his professional career in Paris Stock Exchange. Then he moved to London to work for leading investment banks, first JP Morgan and then Goldman Sachs where he reached a position of Executive Director responsible for CEE region within FICC division. In 2012 Wojtek moved back to Warsaw to join a leading energy and infrastructure company where he managed M&A process that resulted in the sale of 100% of shares to private equity investor. Throughout his career VC space was always of great interest to him which resulted in many investments as Business Angel.
Mr. Łukasz Dziekoński, is the founding partner and the chief executive officer of Montis Capital - Venture Capital Fund. Previously, he served as the head of management board of the ‘Marguerite Fund’, and the member of the management board since 2010. Focused on the equity investments in infrastructure, energy and the transport sector. He also served as a director in the largest bank in the CEE region - Bank PKO BP S.A., coordinating activities in the infrastructure and new technologies. Previously actively supporting foreign investments of the Bank in the CEE region. He served as the member of different supervisory boards, in the infrastructure and banking sector. Frequent speaker in many conferences and workshops, concerning infrastructure, PPP, VC and new technologies.
Tomasz Poniński is the founding partner of Montis Capital – Venture Capital Fund. Since 2008 he is president of the investment company Orenore. Focused on the equity investments to early stage projects in life science, energy and ICT sectors. Member of the supervisory boards of the portfolio companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange AirWayMedix, Adiuvo and Chocolate Cambridge Technologies. Previously he served as president of the Innowacyjna.pl foundation.
Kasia is a Trainee in Attorney-At Law Apprenticeship Programme organized by the Warsaw Bar Association. She graduated from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and University of Granada, and completed International and European Legal Studies Postgraduate Programme at the University of Antwerp. Before joining Montis Capital Group, she has gained experience in HSBC Bank Polska S.A. as well as providing legal services to commercial law companies. She completed several internships in law firms in Poland and in the UK.
Michał has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment management and business consulting. Prior to joining the team, Michał was Board Member of mid-size production company in Energy sector. Prior to this, he held operational business roles at TFS, ARP, Deloitte, Polimex-Mostostal and Central Europe Trust.
Michał previously worked in family office Luma Investment where he participated in several M&A transactions both on the private and public market in the CEE region. Before joining the Montis Capital team, he gained experience, among others in Ernst&Young. Michał is in the process of obtaining an ACCA certificate and is a former scholarship holder of the L.A Paga Foundation.
